We recommend that you stake down your Copper Canyon 5 tent, even though it is freestanding.
Unless you want to go chasing your tent when the wind comes up, you would be wise to put some stakes out - putting heavy things inside, just doesn't do it.
It is best to stake it down before attaching the rain fly - but don't get it so tight that the zippers won't work easily.
We highly recommend the Copper Canyon 5 Plus Screen Room tent to anyone who wants to have a great experience tent camping. It is really comfortable and has everything 2 or 3, or even 6 people would want.
